The Ingromat™ process

The patented Ingromat™ micro-moistening systems allows effective removal of even very small particles.

The cleaning process can be subdivided into three stages:

>>Animated version of cleaning process

1. Micro-moistening of filament tips

The Ingromat™ sprayer delivers a thin film of Ingromat fluid (anti-static cleaning agent) to the tips of the linear brush filaments.

2. Cleaning of product surface

The linear brush wipes at a right angle to the transport direction. It binds the particles to its micro-moistened filaments and transports them towards the suction at the edges of the product surface. Three factors ensure that the particles are removed effectively from the surface:

  • mechanical effect of the linear brush

  • capillary attraction between the micro-moistened filament and the particle

  • reduction of electrostatic charges due to the Ingromat™ fluid

The subject material will remain dry during the process!

3. Self-cleaning of linear brush

At the deviation, the linear brushes are straddled, particles are removed easily from the filaments. Rotating racks will shake out the particles that adhere mechanically to the brush filaments. Additionally, there are compressed-air driven nozzles that blow into the brushes to eliminate the capillary attraction between the particles and the brush filaments. The suction will absorb the loosened particles.
